This is an easy technique to get a head start on the growing season, excellent for advancing harvest of early potatoes an ensuring late season varieties will mature in your region. The key is to sprout your potatoes in a well lit room or greenhouse which will form nice green leaves ready to start growing when you put your potatoes in the ground.
